Local Services & Utilities Technology Advisory Services
IMG advises municipalities on applying new technologies to the management of their organizations and facilities to provide improved services to customers and stakeholders, realize organizational efficiencies, and reduce costs.
With a depth of management, technical and operational experience in utilities, IMG staff members have aided clients in assessing the feasibility of, and have implemented, new technologies. We have worked extensively on understanding how technologies help meet overall organizational objectives and achieve the goals of our client’s organizations. Examples of technology currently being implemented by IMG include: integrated executive dashboards, asset management systems, innovative financial rate modelsand underground pipeline rehabilitation coupled with telecommunications.
As example, the integrated executive dashboard complements IMG’s performance improvement program and allows, by means of an integrated software solutions, the executive management of an organization real-time access to a wide array of financial, operation and human resource information. IMG is involved in the development of projects that are using trench-less technology as a pipeline replacement methodology, which is coupled with the installation of fiber optic conduit. The fiber optic conduit bridges the “last mile” of the telecommunications network and provides a long-term revenue stream to the municipality from by leasing the conduit.
